Whats Groups Links
App My groups Add

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Whats Groups Links handles information on https://whatsgroupslinks.club and in the Android app Whats Groups Links - Join Now (package com.socialcommunity.whatsgrouplinks). It is written to support Google Play User Data / Data safety disclosures and standard privacy expectations for a user-generated directory.

Whats Groups Links is a free public directory of WhatsApp and Telegram invite links. Listings are user-submitted and go live only after human admin review (unless an admin enables auto-approve, in which case violating listings are still removed). There is no adult category. There are no in-app purchases and we do not process payments.

1. No public registration

Public users do not create an account. There is no public name, email, or password signup. You can browse and add a group without registering. We identify activity with a device ID.

  • Website: a random device ID stored in a cookie named wgl_did (about 2 years). It is not your name, phone number, or email.
  • Android app: a random install ID created on first open, plus a one-way hash of the Android ID so the same phone can keep its listings and so we can moderate abuse.

Only site administrators have an email/password login. That login is not offered to the public.

2. Data we collect

  • Device identifiers: website cookie ID or app install ID; on Android, a hashed Android ID.
  • Listing content you submit: title, description, invite link, approximate member count, country, language, category.
  • Optional promote history and point-change logs if an admin grants points.
  • Reports you send about a listing (reason and optional details).
  • Hashed IP addresses for spam control and anonymous traffic counts. Raw IP addresses are not shown in the public directory.
  • Advertising identifiers when Google AdMob serves ads in the app (subject to Google’s policies and your device settings).

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, SMS, photos, precise GPS location, or government ID. We do not sell personal data. We do not store a public member email/password. We do not store payment card data.

3. Why we collect it (purpose)

  • App functionality: show, submit, and moderate group/channel listings.
  • Account management for admins only; public devices are linked only by device ID.
  • Fraud prevention, spam control, and enforcement of safety rules.
  • Analytics: anonymous website page-view and app-install counts for the admin dashboard.
  • Advertising: AdMob may personalise or measure ads when enabled.

4. Sharing

  • Google AdMob when ads are shown in the app — see Google Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp / Telegram only when you tap Join; we do not upload your address book.
  • Hosting provider that stores the website and database.
  • Law enforcement or child-protection organisations when required by law or our CSAE policy.

Whats Groups Links is not affiliated with Meta, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Google except as an AdMob / Play publisher listing public invite links.

5. Retention & security

Device IDs and listings are kept while needed to operate the directory and handle abuse. We use HTTPS and hashed IPs. No method is 100% secure. Do not put passwords or private chat inside a group description.

6. Children

The service is for users aged 13+ (or the digital-consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Sexual content, including any content involving minors, is banned. See our Child Safety Standards (CSAE).

7. Your choices — delete my data

Because there is no public login, “delete” means remove this device’s ID, tokens, and related personal fields.

Approved listings may stay in the public directory unless you ask us to take them down. After deletion, a new device ID may be created if you use the site or app again.
